ScaleFinderOverview

Find Possible scales or chords from a group of notes. For example, You Play the notes A,B,C,Eb,E, and Ab on your guitar, but you can Figure out what scale its in. You can enter these notes into scalefinder, then press the "Find Scales" Button. It Will show you all of the possible scales you could be playing on. This allows you to play by ear, and still know what scale your in.

You can generate chords from a specific scale. The chord finder takes the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th notes from the scale starting on each note. Then it scans through its chord database looking for chords that line up.

Using the Chord Scale Finder you can find what scale a group of chords are in. For example, You play the chords F Major, G Minor, A Minor, and BB Major. If you open up the Scale finder Window at the same time you can export notes from chord scale finder to the scale finder, and the see what scale the chords are in.
